Just a reminder -- the Greendale Public Library will be closed for carpeting and painting from May 21 to June 4.

See a PowerPoint movie created by Library Director Gary Warren Niebuhr that describes his experiences as an American Library Association delegate on their first official visit to the People’s Republic of China. Discover how this trip turned into a challenging journey of self-discovery. Hear about water bottles, full-time work for librarians in China, flying pigs, nightmare toilets, the Bridge of Intelligence, kung fu, March Madness Chinese style, scorpions and the Great Mall of China. Gary will be available after the movie to answer questions about his experiences.

The Library will be closed from May 21st until June 4th for painting and carpeting. The Library is now in its seventeenth year of service at 5647 Broad Street and time has come to make some repairs.
Beginning April 30th until May 14th, all of your three week items will be due on June 6th. Beginning May 14th, all of your three day and seven day items will be due on June 6th.
All items on hold that do not arrive prior to May 18th will be available after June 4th.
Please be aware that due to electrical needs for this project, the Internet may be unavailable beginning May 16th.
The Library reserves the right, due to construction delays, to delay the opening of the Library beyond June 4th.
