Thursday, Jan 24 2008, 12:03 PM

The Germantown Park & Recreation Department would like to be your recreation softball provider in 2008 and beyond.  Due to feedback from current and former teams, we have lowered our fees to $350 per team ($250 sponsor fee and $100 player fee).  Also new in 2008 will be the addition of a concession stand at the park where players and fans will be able to purchase snacks and beverages.

Registrations information can be found on our website www.village.germantown.wi.us .  If you have any questions feel free to call or e-mail us at (262) 250-4710 or parkrec@village.germantown.wi.us

We look forward to seeing you at Haupt Strasse Park this summer.

Christmas for the Dogs

By Park & Recreation Department
Friday, Jan 4 2008, 10:46 AM
During the month of December Health Heelers visited Kids Klub.  Kids Klub is the before and after school program that is run by the Recreation Department at MacArthur School, Rockfield School and Amy Belle School.  Health Heelers is a professional therapy dog service that customizes Animal-Assisted Therapy programs.  Health Heelers utilizes specially trained and tested dogs to create unique and innovative activities.  Last month Health Heelers assisted the Kids Klub participants, with baking homemade dog treats and making holiday cards for the Humane Society. As you can see from the pictures everyone has a great time when Health Heelers comes to visit and the Kids Klub participants did a great job helping to support the Humane Society.
